What do people wear to your services?
Come as you are and let God take care of the rest.

How long are your services?
Each worship service lasts approximately 2 hours, and includes music, singing, a sermon based on the Bible, and an opportunity to give back to the Lord through our finances. After each service, our prayer teams are available to pray for you, should you choose to receive prayer.

Are your facilities accessible for people with disabilities?
Yes, and people with disabilities are welcome to the church. Ample disabled parking is provided. We also are able to minister to the hearing impaired through our sign language ministry. Our Special Needs Ministry is designed especially to share Jesus love with disabled adults and children.

power hope and graceDo you have programs for children?
One of our crowning achievements is the development of our Children's Ministry. From the ages of 5 yrs old to 12 yrs old the children of PHG are educated by a committed staff of teachers that ensures that the next generation of the church is sound in the instruction of God's Word. Each year we have a Children's Day celebration for those who graduate from this ministry.

If I visit, will I be asked to stand or identify myself as a visitor?
You will be asked to stand or publicly identify yourself as a visitor during our worship services. The reason we do this is to greet you properly so you can feel right at home with us. Also we give out visitor welcome packets that help to explain what we are all about and a complimentary CD of one of our services. But if you are not comfortable standing then don't feel you are obligated we will love you just the same.

power hope and graceHow does your church help those in need?
Power Hope and Grace Bible Church is committed to fulfilling Jesus command "to love our neighbors as ourselves"(as stated in the Gospel of Matthew 19:19). Each year we extend ourselves into the local community by hosting our Community Fun Day. During this awesome outreach effort we give away school supplies, grooming services, food, toys, and clothes all for free.

During the past 4 years we have hosted this event the number of people we were able to bless has grown each year and we are looking for an even greater increase. We also invite healthcare professionals for free health screening and information regarding various health conditions. Our Urban Life Center provides free clothes and food to those in need within the community daily.

Ultimately, our purpose for serving the needy is to bring glory to God. When people see His love lived out through his people in practical ways, it proves that Gods love can prevail over selfishness, indifference, and other sins. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)
